NOTICE
Candidates appeared in the Screening Test, September, 2008 – Result Withheld
Ø The NBE conducted the Screening Test (Foreign Medical Graduate Examinations) on 28th September, 2008.
Ø Result in respect of the eligible candidates was declared on 28th September, 2008, result in respect of provisional eligible candidates has been withheld.
Ø The candidates whose result is withheld broadly fall in the following categories :-
(i) Non-submission of eligibility Certificates : It has already been clarified by National Board of Examinations that in accordance with Screening Test Regulations and Eligibility Certificate Regulations, Eligibility Certificate is required to be furnished only by those candidates who have taken admission in foreign medical institutions only after 15th March, 2002. These candidates were advised to submit their eligibility certificate by 10th October, 2008,it has been decided that the candidature of such candidates will remain status quo i.e. withheld and their result will be declared only after a final decision in this regard is taken by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare/Medical Council of India.
(ii) Non-submission of Degree (Duly verified) : These candidates were also advised by the National Board of Examinations to submit verified copy of degree by 10th October, 2008, it has been decided that the candidature of such candidates will remain status quo and their result will be declared only after a final decision in this regard is taken by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare/Medical Council of India.
(iii) Other deficiencies : It was advised to candidates vide individual letters, website & notice board to rectify their deficiencies. These candidates are hereby informed to kindly complete the deficiencies in their application form latest by 27th October, 2008. Individual letters are not being issued.
Ø Further clarifications in this regard are awaited and the decision taken in this regard will be informed to candidates.
